Takadanobaba

Takadanobaba is a suburb of Tokyo where the Australia Council Tokyo Studio Residency was located for over 20 years. These works reflect on the rhythms experienced on a daily basis through a three month residency in the studio. Made at a tiny living room table inside the order of Japanese space they echo the energy and flow of traffic, people and the pulse of movement within this lively part of Tokyo.
