Paddocks
These works explore tracks and traces across landscape, merging temporal and enduring processes that encode the land's surface. Elemental forces such as wind erosion patterns or water ways are inter-meshed with imprints made by animals bedding, feeding and grazing on land. Traces of human management or mismanagement are evident through vehicle and machinery tracks where tires and harrows leave their mark and fences demark one management system from another.
